The Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Philipp Amelung will perform the World Premiere of Randall Svane’s
Saint Francis Symphony on November 20, 2016 as part of the Ickinger Konzertzyklus Music Festival in Ebenhausen, Germany.

Randall Svane was awarded First Prize in the 2014 Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue Composition Competition. Svane’s newly composed Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis was premiered on July 28, 2015 as part of the 10th Anniversary celebration of the Girl Chorister Course at St. Thomas Church, New York. Entries were received from across the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia.

In July 2013, Randall Svane’s Violin Concerto was premiered in Tübingen, Germany by the Tübingen University Orchestra, under the direction of Philipp Amelung, with renowned violinist Julia Galic. The work was subsequently performed in October 2013 on the orchestra’s US concert tour.

Randall Svane's REQUIEM FOR THE UNKNOWN received its World Premiere on October 16, 2011 by the Munich Chamber Choir, Philipp Amelung, conductor at the Prinzregententheater, Munich. Svane was commissioned by the Munich Chamber Choir to compose a major choral work for the 10th anniversary remembrance of 9/11. The performance was recorded by Deutschland Radio Kultur and broadcast nationwide on December 8, 2011.

World Premiere on December 18 in Leipzig, Germany.

Randall Svane's new MASS received its European Premiere on August 17, 2008 in Salzburg, Austria. The performance by Schola Cantorum on Hudson, Deborah Simpkin King, Director, took place during the 10 a.m. High Mass in the Salzburg Dom. The Salzburg Dom, (where Mozart once served as organist), is internationally recognized for its outstanding music program.
